I Love Living Here

Here's a window into my world today.

The only time I like the color orange is in the fall.

Sunshine is a wonderful thing today.  It rained yesterday.

The kittens are starting to come out and play on their own.

Shadow is now our friend.  I can hold him now and for months we couldn't get near him.  He is more of a mother than Mama Kitty who is very wild and seems to have serious brain damage.

See how big they are getting?

Ha ha!  Shadow is making a shadow!

Wouldn't it be nice to have nothing else to do but just play with your friends all day?

Puff sees his chance to pounce on Tigger

This is the first year that our scarlet fire thorn has put on so many berries.

I found these two perfect fall leaves while I was doing some weeding this morning.  It seems like we are getting a true, slow fall.  One where the leaves are slowly changing color and not just dropping before they can change.  I love it!

  1. I love this glimpse into your life. And Fall is the only time I like orange too (unless I'm attending a Wheaton College basketball game, of course!).

  2. I just found your blog from Big Mama's and it's great. But looking at the pictures of the kittens... I guess Harvey is a boy? I have never (and I've known a lot of cats) seen a male calico. How interesting.
